Upon completion of the program requirements, students will meet the minimum coursework set forth by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) to take the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Applicants will need to meet additional fieldwork requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination. Contingent on passing the BCBA exam, students will meet the requirements to become a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in the majority of US states.

Required On-campus Residencies
The online MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling does require some time on-campus at our college in Newton, MA. There are two residency requirements that take place during the summers.
- Summer between Year 1 and Year 2: Complete the intensive part of the Diversity and Group Courses, and participate in a review of Psychopathology over two weeks on-campus.
- Summer between Year 2 and Year 3: Complete four days on-campus of internship and comprehensive exam preparation.

After working as a school psychologist for two years and meeting other requirements, graduates can apply for Massachusetts licensure as an educational psychologist and practice privately.
