CRBH Training and Technical Assistance

5-Day Co-Response Intensive Trainings

The CRBH provides quarterly five-day Co-Response Intensives throughout the state to ensure broad access to standardized Co-Response training. All Massachusetts law enforcement officers and Co-Response clinicians are eligible to apply for this interdisciplinary program. These 40-hour in-person training courses are co-taught by clinicians and law enforcement officials.

Upcoming 5-Day Co-Response Trainings can be found on our calendar. For more information about upcoming 5-Day Co-Response Intensive trainings, please contact Rachael Bottone.

Technical Assistance

The CRBH provides police and their mental health partners with evidence-based and best-practice technical assistance training modules and on-demand support for developing and launching Co-Response programs statewide. Technical assistance is available on our webpage, directly through team members, and upon request. We curate and share Co-Response resources, policies, procedures, recommended readings, summaries of peer-reviewed articles, and Co-Response technical assistance materials.

If you require technical assistance, please contact Rachael Bottone.

Webinars

The CRBH team hosts a monthly webinar series covering a variety of topics related to co-response. Past webinar topics include: Considerations for Co-Response in a University Setting, Creating a Co-Response Policy for Law Enforcement, Recognition and Response to Post-Partum Crises, Building Strong Co-Response Teams: A Practical Hiring Framework, among others.

Community of Practice

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a common concern, set of problems, or interest in a topic and who come together to fulfill both individual and group goals. The Co-Responder Community of Practice convenes monthly to share best practices, offer technical assistance, navigate challenges, create standardized practice, and share events/training. The Community of Practice is for co-response clinicians hired directly by their town or municipality.

If you are interested in joining the Community of Practice, please contact Rachael Bottone.
