Daniel Kason joined William James College as a Professional Writing Tutor in 2020. He focuses on providing students with writing and research support and developing writing materials. Prior to William James College, Dan has eight years of experience teaching college-level writing and literature courses at the University of Maryland and Loyola University Maryland. In addition, as a graduate writing fellow, he conducted writing and revision sessions for an interdisciplinary graduate population. Finally, at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, Dan provided career development and professionalization assistance to a specialty master’s population. In his free time, Dan enjoys writing science fiction, playing tennis, and finding the best ice cream.
Daniel Kason earned his BA in English from Union College, and his PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland.
