Staff: Ann E Coyne, EdD

Ann Coyne joined William James College in 2022 as the Dean of Students. She is a strong advocate for students and is focused on promoting learning outcomes while infusing sustained student engagement programs and services. Dr. Coyne has worked at several institutions building experiential and transformational opportunities in support of students’ personal and academic success. Ann received her BS in Communications and Speech from Suffolk University, MA in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Development from Boston College, and an EdD in Education, Policy, Research and Administration at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

A life-long Cambridge resident, Ann served as chairperson of the City’s Police Review and Advisory Board. She enjoys local history, reading mysteries and thrillers, the arts and being a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephew.
