The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology Held its 40th Anniversary Gala on May 7 at the Seaport Boston Hotel
The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology held its 40th Anniversary Gala on May 7 at the Seaport Boston Hotel. This year’s gala focused especially on how MSPP is helping to address the crisis in children’s mental health, which now leaves 60 percent of parents who need services for their kids without access. Dr. Michael S. Jellinek was honored for his groundbreaking work developing the Pediatric Symptom Checklist, the most widely used brief screening instrument that pediatricians use to identify children with emotional problems. The Brookline Community Mental Health Center was also recognized for its innovative treatment models that have been adopted by providers and schools across Massachusetts.
