Traffickers have many ways to keep victims hidden in plain sight

In honor of National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Dr. Paola Contreras, lead researcher at our Human Trafficking Community Research Hub, submitted a letter to The Boston Globe editor that sheds light on how trafficking rings are operated in plain sight and how society can partner with law enforcement to combat these criminal activities by raising awareness about human trafficking in communities and reporting suspicious activity.
