‘13 Reasons Why’ sparks concerns among school officials, prompts warnings
Advice from Nadja Lopez, Associate Director of our Freedman Center for Child and Family Development, was highlighted in The Herald News surrounding ways for parents to communicate with their children about the controversial Netflix TV series “13 Reasons Why.”
“Dr. Lopez suggested checking with your children to determine if they have seen the show. If so, please consider having conversations with them about the challenging and difficult issues presented in the show,”
