This course examines foundational approaches to college teaching and learning, emphasizing pedagogical models, assessment strategies, and course design across online, hybrid, and in-person modalities. Students will explore the integration of educational technologies and learning management systems to enhance instructional effectiveness. Through applied projects, participants will design learning goals and syllabi that align course content, measurable learning outcomes, and assessments using Bloom’s Taxonomy. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate the ability to compare instructional strategies across modalities, apply technology to support learning, and develop coherent, outcome-driven curricula grounded in evidence-based pedagogy.
