This course takes an executive view of organizational development and system approaches. Students will learn methodologies for designing, implementing and assessing strategic organizational development projects. Best practices, benchmarking and various system models will be studied. Particular attention will be paid to psychological and cultural factors that often determine the success or failure of these approaches. Students complete their final paper within a particular area of leadership interest (for profit, nonprofit, higher education, technology as examples). Open only to students in the doctoral program in Leadership Psychology.
