This course provides a fundamental understanding of the legal foundations of higher education. It includes an orientation to types/sources of law and authority, knowledge of the impact of statutes and important case law on the governance and operation of colleges and universities, and preparation in anticipating legal problems issues in day-to-day administrative operations. Open only to students in the masters program in Applied Psychology in Higher Education Student Personnel Administration.
