This lab develops the paired skills of client engagement and documentation. Students practice motivational interviewing micro-skills, including engagement with ambivalent and mandated clients, and learn audit-ready progress note writing, HIPAA compliance, and documentation auditing. Students complete required certifications and prepare for Practical Competency Exams 2 and 3.
