This course will introduce the students to different Expressive Arts Therapy approaches to work with trauma and traumatized populations after providing the student with a comprehensive exploration of the psychological trauma field, including the history and current theories in the field, the nature of trauma, the effects of trauma on individuals, couples, families, and communities. Students will also have the chance to review evidence-based practices in the trauma field. Pre-requisites: ET650 or permission of the instructor.
