This course is designed as an introductory-level course that provides students with the foundational skills required for administration and scoring of a wide variety of assessments typically used in the context of neuropsychological evaluations. During this course, students will learn how to administer and score the most commonly used assessments within the major cognitive domains (e.g., attention, executive functioning, language, visuospatial processing, memory). The course format will primarily include practice administrations of the tests being reviewed, though class discussions, demonstrations, and group activities will also be utilized. Additionally, the course will review test psychometrics, normative comparisons within neuropsychology, and the application of statistical concepts to neuropsychological normative scores.
