This seminar is designed to teach students how to integrate and apply the knowledge learned from theory and practice courses into clinical practice. Students will further develop case conceptualization skills and apply these skills to inform treatment planning. Students will develop increased proficiency in implementing treatment plans. They will learn how to evaluate treatment effectiveness and how to modify formulations and treatment plans as new data become available or as client circumstances change. Students will develop skills to effectively intervene using evidence-based approaches to respond to clinical issues as they arise. Perspectives related to diversity, as well as biological, social, cultural, political and other contextual contributions are addressed throughout the course.
