This immersion program trains clinical psychology doctoral students to support families affected by domestic violence in Asian communities in MA. Through collaboration with local organizations, students will learn to implement the "Commit to You" program, which applies Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Self-Compassion (SC) interventions. The curriculum is designed to develop students' abilities to foster resilience and cultivate value-based living among survivors, addressing the unique cultural and psychological needs of Asian families recovering from domestic violence.
