Student Ambassador: Sara Brown

I am a first-year WJC student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program. For my undergrad, I went to Northeastern University and earned a BS in Psychology with a biochemistry concentration in 2016. I grew up in Massachusetts and chose to come to WJC because of their robust network of practicum and training sites. I am a member of ACES and a first-generation college student. I am interested in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression. 

My advice for prospective students is to give yourself permission to prioritize self-care. It can seem impossible to find the time to take care of yourself while balancing multiple responsibilities, which is what makes it all the more important! You cannot pour from an empty cup.
