Student Ambassador: Rachel Cruickshank

Hi! My name is Rachel Cruickshank, and I’m from Hanover MA! I am currently enrolled in the MA/CAGS program here and William James College. I graduated from Umass Amherst in 2021 with a BS in Psychology, and a minor in education. I am an ACE leader for the second-year cohort. Before entering the program, I was working with students one on one in a therepeutic collaborative setting. I have a strong passion for counseling, I used to intern in a therapy office working with young adults. Currently, I am also a behavior technician continuing to work with children on the Autism spectrum. I loved that William James was a psychology-based school, it is what drew me to my decision of enrollment! Being able to apply what you learn from your course work into your field placement the following day is such an amazing thing. Good luck with everything!
